Egg hunters brave the rain in Vivary

Egg hunters brave the rain in Vivary - FAMILIES braved the rain as children scoured the bushes and flower beds in Taunton's Vivary Park for an Easter egg hunt on Sunday. [Taunton News]

This kind of event is always such an enjoyable occasion. It is good to see people getting into the park on a bank holiday weekend and enjoying the beautiful surroundings that are Vivary Park. It is always really good to see the model railway engineers in the park and I can spend quite a long time just watching these magnificant machines ferrying children around the playground. The kids love to have a go on them and there is always a fairly large queue to get on them.

Although the weather was not particularly good on this occasion peoples spirits were not dampened and parents were helping their children search for eggs in the rain. Children can never have enough chocolate can they! I wonder how many of the parents sneak an egg or two for themselves when no one is looking.

Almost any event in Vivary park is a good one and I can't wait for the next one.
